Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Confirmed: SJTU admits international undergraduates in only 2 English-taught majors (Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) — all others require Chinese proficiency. No official numeric GPA/English-test threshold found in this pass; a "minimum 55%" figure from an aggregator uses templated phrasing seen elsewhere and is not trusted here. Re-verify against en.sjtu.edu.cn directly.

Official en.gs.sjtu.edu.cn (Graduate School, Language Requirements of SJTU International Graduate Programs): IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 90 minimum for non-native English speakers on English-taught programmes. GPA not fixed university-wide — competitive applicants typically well above 3.0/4.0.

Official en.sjtu.edu.cn / en.gs.sjtu.edu.cn: requires a Master's degree; for English-taught programmes, non-native speakers need IELTS >=6.0 or TOEFL >=90. Foreign degrees need CSCSE accreditation before registration. Doctoral tuition ~RMB 45,500/year (~USD 6,600), 3-4 year duration.
